Photo and video
Photos and video shot for
the page they'll live on.
A lot of good websites fall apart at the photos. A hand-built layout with a phone snapshot at the top still looks like a phone snapshot, so we shoot the pictures ourselves, with the page in mind. Book it as a package with your site, or on its own.
What we shoot
Six kinds of shoots,
one standard.
Portraits and headshots
Headshots for the team page, the about page, and the picture next to your name on Google. We take the time to get people relaxed, so they look like themselves on a good day.
Food, products and spaces
The photo is the menu now. We shoot dishes, products and rooms so they sell before anyone walks in, framed for the pages they're going on.
Events, services and performances
Concerts, worship services and openings happen once, so we're there for the whole thing, shooting 4K with clean audio, and every file is backed up before we leave the building.
Brand videos and short promos
A minute of you talking about what you do, cut once for the homepage and again for Instagram and ads. We plan the shots around the site, so the same footage works at the top of the page and in a story.
Music videos and live sessions
We shoot live sessions and music videos with the sound treated as seriously as the picture. The result goes on your booking page, in your press kit, or out with the release.
Editing and motion graphics
If you already have footage from a phone, a past event or another videographer, we cut it, fix the sound where we can, add titles and motion graphics, and deliver it in the sizes your site and your feed need.
Where the pictures end up
Sites built around their photos.
Both are live. Click through and look at the food and the chairs before you read a word.
What we bring
The gear comes with us.
We own more than $20,000 of camera, lens, lighting and audio gear, and we bring what the shoot needs, so there's usually nothing to rent and nobody else to coordinate. Video is 4K with clean audio, recorded on purpose rather than picked up by accident, and everything is backed up before we leave.
Why it matters
The photos are
the first visit.
Before anyone tastes the food, hears the concert, or books the chair, they look at the pictures. That's the whole argument.
Shoot for the layout
The photo at the top of a page is wide and short, a menu grid is square, and a team page needs everyone lit the same way. We know the frame before we press the shutter, because we usually built the page it's going on.
Real beats stock
People can tell the difference between your kitchen and a stock photo of a kitchen. Trust is built on the real one.
Shoot once, use it everywhere
One shoot can cover the whole site, a stack of Instagram posts and a clip for the ad. We plan the shot list that way, so you're not paying for a second day.
How a shoot works
Plan, quote, shoot, deliver.
Plan
Tell us what the pictures are for: a new site, a menu, a launch, a Sunday service. If we're building the site too, we already know the layout, and the shot list writes itself.
Quote
We send a written quote, and we draw up the shot list together, so you know what we're shooting and what it costs before we book it. You tell us when the room looks best and the chef is in a good mood.
Shoot
We show up with the gear, work around your customers and your service, and back up every file before we pack the car. You can mostly keep working.
Deliver
We edit the selects, size them for the top of the page, the grid and Instagram, and if we built the site, we put them in place ourselves. If not, you get everything ready to upload.
Start a project
One quote for the site and the shoot.
Tell us what you need pictures of and where they're going. We reply within one business day, and the quote comes in writing, as a package with your website or on its own.
